What do you do everyday at 5:30am? I poop. Then I try to go back to sleep. It doesn't always work. But I'm managing to stay up until 1pm! With moving to the older infant room (I'm a TeddyBear, isn't it obvious?), there's so much to do, I don't always have time for a morning nap. I play this great game in the TeddyBear room. I cry and cry and cry as soon as Mamma puts me down (I didn't do this in the Bunny room). I cry and cry and cry until she's out of sight. And then I stop. She doesn't know that. It's fun to torture her.
Daddy is a good cook. I like to eat everything he cooks, and his leftovers, and whatever is on the floor. As soon as I get home from daycare, I'm crying for food. Which is great background noise for Daddy cooking. And by the time he's done, I've usually eaten enough appetizers that I'm ready for the meal he's prepared. If I cry during dinner, it's because Mamma and Daddy forgot to give me a utensil or more cottage cheese. Or they didn't put extra food on my plate fast enough (the nerve of them, trying to feed themselves).
I'm running all over the place with my handy push-toys. I have a need for speed. I've taken a couple of steps on my own, and appreciate the extra padding that diapers afford when I fall down.
My favorite ways to communicate right now are grunts, cries and moans. Mamma and Daddy understand what I mean. I love to imitate my big sister. Her laughs, her head movements, her giggles, all of it. So far she's amused by my mimicking. Unless I'm playing with her puzzles. In which case she doesn't appreciate me trying to be like her.
