Mamma said the water was going to be cold. But I screamed I wanted my bathing suit. I was right. Venice had okay water. So okay, Santa Monica was cooler without the breakers. We were the only ones in the water. Locals are wusses.

California!
The nice flight attendants gave us chocolate and cookies and pretzels and honorary attendants. We flew over My Little Ponyland and CareBearland and it was amazing. We were up high over the clouds. I used the bathroom 6 times, and Nina 8 on the plane. It made a cool flushing noise.
In California we saw Uncle Yo, and it was bedtime for Daddy but only dinnertime here. But it was dark pretty quick. We had enough time to check out the tree house, sit around the fire and tell spooky stories, and step in some dog poop.

Lego update
Oh no! A fire came through and destroyed our Lego town. Good thing the fire car (in Nina's hand) is helping. Our town will rebuild.

Lego
It's amazing how much more fun Lego is when the pieces are organized. Thank you Mormor for keeping Lego for decades and thank you Mamma for sorting for days.
Soccer season
Nina has soccer practice twice a week and most often two games each weekend. I'M SO HAPPY THIS FIELD HAS A PLAYGROUND.

NeeNee's
NeeNee is famous all over the place. She didn't tell me she had a restaurant in North Carolina. Maybe that's because they misspell her name.
All our free time
We spend all our free time either at JT and Grace's house, or having them play here. When they're not home, we're scootering past their house waiting until they get home, or asking when they'll be home. Then JT and Grace come home, they're immediately knocking on our door. We now have 2 houses.

Homework
In Kindergarten, I had one page of homework every day. And I usually finished before I got home.
In 1st grade, I get a mountain of homework on Friday and have to hand it in on Wednesday. Mamma says that this is great for kids with organizational difficulties, as it helps kids space out when they need to do their homework, and have to remember less about bringing home and handing in homework. She also says that it's great because I can get it all done early and then not have homework the rest of the week. And that I don't have to worry about homework on soccer practice nights, or on nights when I want to play with friends. But she's forgetting the most important part.
I HATE HOMEWORK!
