Resolutions

I resolve to not be scared to go to the second floor (to go potty) by myself only if Ewan resolves to go potty. Mamma and Daddy resolve to give up.

New toys

I LOVE MY CASTLE AND HELICOPTER AND CAR THAT LIGHTS UP. Second Christmas is so cool. But I don't like superhero or supervillian toys. I just like animals and knights because they ride horses. And cars and helicopters that light up and make cool noises. Thank you BedsteSantas.

I'm so excited Mamma and Daddy are going to a wedding far away. That means we get to stay with Mormor and Morfar and have them all to ourselves!

They're here!!!

Mormor and Morfar are here a day early and they brought more cool presents and Christmas never ends! This is awesome!! What? They're sick? And I shouldn't cuddle them so I don't get sick? This is when they need grandbaby cuddles the most! Sick-smick. Morcuddles at 5am!

Because Santa comes early to our house, we put out food for the reindeer and sparkles for Santa. It worked. He found us!

It's almost here!!!

Trying to jam in as many Christmas things. We saw the holiday trains at the museum and watched Charlie Brown Christmas and the Grinch (who is teaching us the meaning of Christmas) and Polar Express while Mamma makes yummy meatballs and tries to teach us about holiday traditions for tomorrow.

My girls

 

 

For weeks and months I've wanted to play with friends in the Turtle room, an inseparable trio. But they always run away from me. Or they say I can't play with them. Or they don't want to play with me. Or say that boys can't play with ponies or dolls. And that's made me really sad. But I kept asking, and trying, and being nice. And this week they finally let me play with them, and they don't run away from me. I'm super happy.

Please don't ruin my happiness by letting me know that this pattern is going to go on for the rest of my life.

We had breakfast with Santa and then saw the Nutcracker Suite ballet and then saw Daddy's office and then got awesome presents from Aunt Holly. My nails miraculously grew super long.

Reckloose

One day playing skateboard down a large ramp onto the pretend street. The next day try to body surf Mamma's car hood as we leave preschool and instruct her to drive while I hold on.

WHISTLE lollipops

Advent calendars are great. Every morning we wake up to a new candy or toy. The other day we got whistle lollipops. Mamma wondered what she'd done to make Mormor mad at her.

200 cookies

Meatballs at the Blue store with Santa Lucia singers. Pepperkakor baking. Getting our own tin of cookies with free reign on eating. And now a Girl Scouts holiday party with crafts and candy and goodie bags? And there's still Xmas to look forward to? It should be December every month.

CHAMP of the month

I'm the CHAMP of the month for my class. That means I got a certificate saying I'm awesome, and have my picture taken, and I got to go to a pizza party with the other CHAMPS from all the other grades at my school. But even more important, I got to have rootbeer! School is so great!

Pencils and notepads are great for making place cards for the dinner table.

More December

 

I REALLY LOVE DECEMBER. Santa visited again at another party, we got super cool toys in our advent calendar (who doesn't love a self-inflating whoopie cushion?) and decorated the tree. I really loved the angels we put on the tree. Ewan loved throwing the ornaments on the tree. Why are Mamma's neck veins bulging? Falalalala-lala-la-la.

Eyebrow pencil

I keep telling Mamma I need more makeup. This morning I had to experiment with green eye shadow cream as an eyebrow pencil. Not pleased with the result.

Advent calendar

I LOVE DECEMBER!!! We woke up and opened presents from our advent calendar (e: Can I open them all now?), and met Santa and put up our tree and saw the holiday lights at the zoo. If every day in December is like this, that'd be fine with me.
